Grade Mechanics Tool Set, an ideal kit for any “shade
tree” mechanic who takes pride in their automotive or
boat repairs, and the home improvement do-it-yourselfer who
expects professional grade tool performance at an affordable
price. This new line includes six dedicated sets that come
“fully loaded” with combination and open-end wrenches,
sockets, ratchets, and other accessories. The tools were designed
to meet the stringent standards for quality and performance
set by professionals.
Each tool is forged from high quality steel providing smooth
and safe edges unlike some other brand name stamped models
that suffer from chipping and sharp edges. Stanley® tools
feature a professional grade full-polish, smooth finish that
makes the tools easy to handle, easy to clean and corrosion
resistant.
The patented pear-head ratchets offer a flush, quick-release
button that locks and releases sockets with only one finger
to keep sockets from separating from the ratchet during use.
Additionally, the pear-head is equipped with a single finger
reverse mechanism that smoothly switches during use enabling
the user to maintain their position, even in hard to reach
places. With gears designed up to 72-teeth, the ratchets require
less arc swing (only 5-degrees) to engage and maneuver fasteners
in tight spaces with speed and control.
All sockets in the line have Maxi-Drive™ technology
that provides 15% more torque with less slippage or risk of
rounding fasteners. This feature also makes it easier to turn
old, rusted or worn fasteners with, rounded heads that may
not fit perfectly. The combination wrenches have long, beefy
shanks that deliver more torque and greater durability. The
box-ends of these wrenches also have the Maxi-Drive™
feature to enable better performance than an ordinary box-end
wrench.
