Stanley’s assortment of innovative new ratchets and
sockets includes:
STANLEY® FastChange Ratchet
The STANLEY® FastChange Ratchet features a locking flex
head that allows users to flex its head 180 degrees for better
access to tight spaces while protecting knuckles from harm.
For versatility around the home or garage, the interchangeable
heads allow users to use the ratchet as a 3/8” socket
wrench, a ratcheting box end wrench, or a bit driver tool.
Whatever the application, the spinner handle enables the user
to spin the drive arm by pushing the grip forward for quick
insertion or removal fasteners. The tri-lobular grip is designed
for comfort and applying additional torque.
The STANLEY® FastChange Ratchet will be available at
auto parts stores or other retailers where STANLEY® products
are sold in late 2005 with a suggested retail price of $29.99.
STANLEY® TorqueSafe™ Socket
To help users properly set spark plugs without an investment
in an expensive torque wrench, Stanley proudly introduces
the STANLEY® TorqueSafe™ Socket. Proper torque setting
for spark plugs is critical. An under-torqued spark plug will
not seal and transfer heat effectively, while an over torqued
spark plug can cause damage to the engine. Users can rely
on the STANLEY® TorqueSafe™ Socket properly seating
the spark plug every time because it will only apply the preset
torque.
The STANLEY® TorqueSafe Socket will be available in the
three most common spark plug sizes: 5/8”, 3/4”
and 13/16”. It will be available at auto parts stores
or other retailers where STANLEY® products are sold in
late 2005 with a suggested retail price of $19.99.
STANLEY® Rotator™ Ratchet
Whether removing a bolt from an engine or installing a sink
fixture, the STANLEY® Rotator™ Ratchet gives users
the ability to swing the ratchet arm or spin the handle for
removing or threading fasteners, nuts and bolts in tight areas.
When using the alternate rotating handle feature, the ratchet
arm spins in the forward or reverse direction it is set. It
is ideal for many additional projects around the home where
fasteners, nuts and bolts are located in hard to access places
such as engine compartments, grill assembly or small engine
repair.
The STANLEY® Rotator™ Ratchet is available in 3/8”
and 1/4” sizes. It is available at auto parts stores
or other retailers where STANLEY® products are sold with
a suggested retail price of $24.99-$29.99.
STANLEY® Microtough™ Ratchet
The STANLEY® Microtough™ ratchet features the smallest
3/8” and 1/2” ratchet heads in the marketplace.
In addition to featuring small heads, the Microtough™
Ratchet has 72 teeth with a very tight five degree arc swing
for access to fasteners located in areas with minimal maneuverability.
The STANLEY® Microtough™ Ratchet is available at
auto parts stores or other retailers where STANLEY® products
are sold with a suggested retail price of $14.99-$19.99.
STANLEY® Indexible 360º Ratchet
The STANLEY® Indexible 360º Ratchet features a patented
drive arm allowing users to generate torque on fasteners located
where direct access is difficult, such as in an engine compartment
or on lawn equipment. With an indexible head the tool offers
the ability to change the head’s position to maneuver
around obstructions. When left in the unlocked position, the
ratchet can be used as a spinner wrench for removing fasteners
quickly.
The STANLEY® Indexable 360º Ratchet will be available
in late 2005 at auto parts stores or other retailers where
STANLEY® products are sold with a suggested retail price
of $17.99-$19.99.
