SUMMARY: Stanley introduces the STANLEY® FatMax® 5-Beam
Self-Leveling Laser (77-154 SP5) to its premium line of FatMax®
tools, and the first laser tool from Stanley to wear the FatMax®
badge. This self-leveling tool emits five independent bright
laser dots, which are accurately set at 90-degrees (+/- 1/4-inch
at 100-feet) to each other for rapid set-up of interior partitioning,
shelving and other internal installation projects. When out-of-level,
the beams blink to alert the user. Further reducing set-up
time and enhancing overall usability, the magnetic universal
mount allows the tool to be fixed to either a standard (5/8
x 11 inch) or camera tripod, magnetically fixed to a metal
surface or strapped to a pipe or scaffold. Also helping to
save time on the job is a heavy- duty magnetic dampening compensator
that quickly levels and stabilizes the laser beams. The tool
conserves battery life by shutting off after 20 minutes of
non-use. During transportation, the FatMax® 5-Beam Self-Leveling
Laser is further protected with an on/off switch that is equipped
with a compensator-locking device.

– Stanley (NYSE: SWK) today introduces the STANLEY®
FatMax® 5-Beam Self-Leveling Laser (77-154 SP5). The new
laser level is the first in the FatMax® line of laser
products and works to complete virtually any interior leveling
project easier and faster. It is an ideal tool for interior
partitioning, shelving and a variety of other internal installation
projects where precise measurement of plum and level is a
necessity.
For maximum accuracy and visibility on the jobsite, The STANLEY®
FatMax® 5-Beam Self Leveling Laser tool emits five independent
bright laser dots, which are set at 90-degrees (+/- 1/4-inch
at 100-feet) and feature a pendulum self-leveling technology
that adjusts to within +/- 5-degrees in any direction. In
the event the tool becomes out-of-level, the beams blink to
alert the user and help prevent inaccurate installations.

Setting up the tool is quick and easy as the integrated magnetic
universal mount allows the unit to be fixed to either a standard
(5/8 x 11 inch) or camera tripod, magnetically fixed to a

tool is correctly positioned, the heavy-duty magnetic damping
compensator quickly stabilizes and levels the laser beams.
A trivet allows users to work up to, and over, floor channels.
To conserve battery life, the tool automatically shuts off
if left idle for more than 20 minutes. When it’s time
to transport the STANLEY® FatMax® 5-Beam Self Leveling
Laser from one jobsite location to another, a compensator
locking device incorporated into the on/off switch keeps the
tool in the off position to protect it from damage.
